Our Story
Born from gold, culture, and memory.
Varza started with a love story. When our founder, Veena, got married in 2024, she had two ceremonies: one Sikh and one Christian. While searching for jewelry for her Christian wedding, she struggled to find something that felt like her. She wanted pieces that reflected her heritage but were lighter, modern, and easy to wear. So, she decided to create them herself.
When she shared the idea with her two best friends (and co-maids of honor!), Arlene and Zareen, they immediately connected with it. Together, they decided to design jewelry that celebrated their specific roots, not something broadly Indian. Each of them brought their own inspiration: the Golden Temple in Amritsar, the Art Deco architecture of Mumbai, and the soft elegance of Mughal design.
Varza was born from friendship, culture, and creativity. Each piece is crafted from heritage but made for everyone. It's a reminder that identity can be both rooted and ever-evolving, just like the people who wear it.
